Actor Sanjay Kapoor’s daughter Shanaya Kapoor is all set to foray into films. The actress, who was supposed to make her debut with Dharma Productions’ project Bedhadak, will now make her pan-India debut with Mohanlal starrer Vrushabha. The film is touted to be one of the biggest films of 2024. It went on floors earlier in August and the first schedule came to a wrap earlier this week.

Following the wrap, Shanaya Kapoor shared a group photo with the cast and crew and wrote, “First schedule done with Mohanlal sir! It was an honour to share the screen with you, sir. Can't wait to get started with the final schedule in London next month.”

Talking about Vrushabha, Shanaya Kapoor earlier said, "The storyline is a fascinating one which has stayed with me. Also, the film has all the big names associated with it and is being made on a massive scale, it's the kind of role any young actor would be excited, and inspired to play. Especially so early in one's career.”

The film will be a big-budget project with Shanaya playing a pivotal role. Zarah S Khan and Roshann Meka will also be seen in supporting roles. Nanda Kishore is directing the film.

Vrushabha is presented by Connekkt Media and Balaji Telefilms in association with AVS Studios. The film is directed by Nanda Kishore and produced by (for AVS) Vishal Gurnani, Juhi Parekh Mehta, Abhishek Vyas, and Shyam Sunder (First Step Movies), produced by (for Balaji Telefilms) Ektaa R Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor, along with Varun Mathur and Saurabh Mishra (for Connekkt Media). The film is being shot simultaneously in Telugu & Malayalam and it will release in Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, Kannada and Tamil.
