On Thursday, prominent film personalities from the Telugu film industry including filmmaker SS Rajamouli and Prabhas met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to discuss issues faced by the film industry. As Prabhas arrived at the Secunderabad airport, he was mobbed by reporters and it was his Baahubali director who came to his rescue.
A video of Prabhas and SS Rajamouli arriving at the airport with a sea of journalists waiting to get comments from the stars has gone viral on social media. In the video, we see Rajamouli getting mobbed and unable to make his way to the airport. He manages to make his way out of the mob and heads to help out Prabhas who was not being able to move because of the media. The director quickly walked towards Prabhas and held his hand and directed him away from the crowd.

Other celebrities who were present at the meeting were Mahesh Babu, Chiranjeevi, Prabhas, Siva Kortala, among others. After the meeting, Chiranjeevi told the media, "We have discussed various things. Telugu cinema has attained not only national but also international glory, thanks to some high-budget movies. Telugu cinema is being talked about greatly. The Chief Minister assured us that a favourable decision will be taken after discussing it with the committee (appointed to look into the ticket pricing). Hopefully, by the third week, a government order in this regard will be issued”.
