The much talked about collaboration between Mahesh Babu and filmmaker SS Rajamouli has once again taken center stage on social media, courtesy the latest post of the RRR filmmaker. The film has garnered attention ever since its announcement and while it is yet to be titled and being referred to as SSMB29, reports have earlier suggested that the film will be shot in Africa. The internationally acclaimed filmmaker thus has sparked speculation among netizens, by taking to the social media platform to share a photo from Kenya.
It is a known fact that ever since the release of Guntur Kaaram (2024), fans cannot wait to see Mahesh Babu returning to the theatres. Meanwhile, in earlier reports, it was being said that has the magnum opus SS Rajamouli is planning with the Telugu superstar will be a lengthy process and will require a couple of years to put it together, much to the disappointment of fans. However, that has damped the enthusiasm they have for SSMB29. And it is quite visible when his recent photo kicked off an interesting conversation on the social media platform. Taking to Instagram, Rajamouli wrote, “Trotting to discover…” as he shared a photo of him taking a stroll amid Zebras and other animals at the Amboseli National Park in Kenya, Africa.

Fans believed that the filmmaker has dived into the project and is currently busy finalizing locations for the untitled venture. They cheered on for the filmmaker and for the film as they dropped comments like, “Bigger and better #SSMB29 #SSR”, “The HUNT is On #SSMB29 #GlobeTrotting”, “Location hunting”, among others.
With music from MM Keeravani, the film is said to be an action -adventure drama with Mahesh Babu featuring in a never-seen-before avatar. Recent reports have also stated that the film will be heavily inspired by Indian mythology, including the character essayed by the Telugu prince. However, further details of the untitled project are currently maintained under wraps.
