The shoot of the most-awaited film Thandel which will bring together the popular actor Naga Chaitanya as well as filmmaker Chandoo Mondeti, has kicked off in Udupi a few days ago. While the shoot is presently underway, we hear that some crucial sequences and action parts will be a part of this lengthy schedule and the team is working on the same. In fact, now we hear that the entire cast and crew will soon be seen shooting some gruelling sequences amid blue waters.

Readers would be aware that Naga Chaitanya will be seen in the role of a fisherman in Thandel and the sea plays an integral role in the film. If sources are to be believed, an adrenaline-pumping sequence will be filmed in the middle of the ocean soon. Ahead of the same, the makers unveiled a new poster of the film on social media where Naga Chaitanya looks thrilled as he is seen heading towards the ocean. Posting the same, they captioned it saying, “Team #Thandel begins an adrenaline pumping schedule in middle of the oceans (waves emoji) Shoot in progress (video camera emoji) Exciting updates soon (firecracker emoji).”

For the unversed, Naga Chaitanya has undergone a complete makeover to portray this never-before character in the movie. It is also being said that he took intense training lessons and did extensive homework to play the role of a fisherman before starting the shoot. With Sai Pallavi as the female lead, we hear that the movie is based on real incidents. Thandel is a love story set against a different backdrop revolving around the life of fishermen.

Speaking of the crew, Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad will be composing the soundtracks and background score. Shamdat will handle the cinematography whereas Srinagendra Tangala will look after the art direction. Written and directed by Chandoo Mondeti, the film is presented by Allu Aravind and produced by Bunny Vasu under the banner Geetha Arts.
