Vijay Deverakonda resumes shoot of Liger; makers share a new picture from the set : Bollywood News

Vijay Deverakonda has been putting his best foot forward for his upcoming pan India film Liger which will also mark his Bollywood debut. On Wednesday, the makers surprised fans with an update on the film. Co-producer Charmme Kaur took to her social media handle to share a picture of Vijay Deverakonda for the sets of the film and revealed that they have resumed the shoot of the film.

In the picture shared by Charmme, Vijay can be seen sitting inside a boxing ring with his bare back to the camera. Charmme also revealed that the cast and crew have resumed shooting for the film.

Meanwhile, Vijay recently welcomed Indian Idol 12 finalist Shanmukha Priya onboard the film to sing a song. For the unversed, the south star had sent a video message for the young singer during the finale of Indian Idol 12 and promised to get her to sing in one of his movies.

Ananya Panday will be co-starring opposite Vijay in Liger, which is jointly produced by Puri Jagannadh, Charmme Kaur, Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta under Puri Connects and Dharma Productions banners. The film will release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
