After a very long time, Vijay shared his picture through his verified Instagram handle, and fans can’t stop showering love on it. Meanwhile, a section of his Insta fan has pointed out his seemingly visible weight loss.

Sporting a casual look for the click, Vijay opted for a plain white shirt. Keeping his post captionless, the actor dropped the photo along with a nerd face emoticon.

While many were surprised by the fresh still of their favourite actor, a section of them commented on Vijay’s evident transformation. “Wow…So Fit,” wrote a fan while another commented, “unbelievable”. Fans of Vijay Sethupathi are smitten by this new version of the actor.

Coming to the professional front, the 44-year-old actor was last seen in DSP. The film, which was released on December 2, 2022, performed poorly. However, he was also featured in three more 2022 releases, which were Vikram, Maamanithan, and 19 (1) (a).

After making a name for himself in South Indian cinema, the actor is all set to make his Bollywood debut with an upcoming film, titled Merry Christmas. In the film, will share the screen space with Katrina Kaif. Directed by Sriram Raghavan, the psychological thriller is expected to hit theatres next year during Christmas. The ensemble star cast also includes Sanjay Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Tinnu Anand, Pratima Kazmi, Shanmugarajan, Kevin Jay Babu and Radhika Sarathkumar in pivotal roles.
