Vikram completes 2 years; Raaj Kamal Films celebrates the success of the Kamal Haasan starrer : Bollywood News

Adding to the much-explored action-drama genre, Vikram remains to be one of the game changers not only in the career of Kamal Haasan and Lokesh Kanagaraj but also in Tamil Cinema. The film, which released in multiple languages, received acceptance and love across the country and now as the film completes two years, the makers decided to share a few posts on social media to commemorate the occasion and relive the success of the film.

Raaj Kamal International Films of Kamal Haasan took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share special posts as Vikram completed 2 years on June 3. On Monday, the makers took to the platform to share their first post which said, “Celebrating two amazing years of #Vikram! A film that set new standards in cinema. Kudos to the team and fans for this unforgettable journey”. The production house also shared another post, ‘Celebrating 2 Years’ which were montages from the action drama including a glimpse of intense action sequences and the much-talked about cameo by superstar Suriya.

Speaking of Vikram, the action thriller directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj is a part of his ambitious LCU (Lokesh Cinematic Universe) which also features Karthi, who featured in the film Kaithi, Thalapathy Vijay as Leo along with Kamal Haasan as Vikram. As for the latter, the film also starred an ensemble cast of Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil along with Narain, Kalidas Jayaram, Gayathrie, Chemban Vinod Jose, Santhana Bharathi and Elango Kumaravel in key roles.

While it is being said that a sequel Vikram 2 is on the cards, reports also suggest that fans are keen on wanting another film for the character of Amar, played by Fahadh.
