Abhishek attended the gala as the brand ambassador of the watch brand Omega, as the brand serves as Official Timekeeper of the Ryder Cup for the first time this year. At the event Abhishek stopped by the PGA Precision Experience in Ryder Cup Plaza to test his golf skills at the Omega Putting Challenge. He also met his fellow Omega Ambassadors, Olympic champion Michael Phelps and legendary golf coach Hank Haney, who are also in Medinah to enjoy all the Ryder Cup action.
Abhishek Bachchan who is currently in Chicago shooting for his film Dhoom 3 attended the Ryder Cup. The 2012 Ryder Cup is one of the most anticipated golf events on the calendar.
