Well, it's this same couple, who is now back with a bang, with their newly released film Do Dooni Chaar. Bollywood Hungama did an exclusive tete-a-tete with the director Habib Faizal, who is responsible for getting the legendary couple back on the silver screen after years. "We did not shoot on a set. The home you see in Do Dooni Chaar is a real home - small and often congested. It was tough to even fit the camera inside! I had to struggle to even get behind the camera and see my frame."
There is a vital road chase in the film, in which Rishiji rides his scooter, his 2 children riding pillion. The chase takes him through the narrow lanes of New Delhi. It was extremely difficult to shoot as Rishiji was riding a scooter for the first time in his life!
Everyday before we began shooting, I would sit down with all the actors and do a reading. Rishiji and Neetu M'am, despite their immense experience, would sit down and listen to me with such discipline, that I was humbled.
In this scene, Rishiji is being bundled up by ruffians. It was so difficult to get the actors to handle Rishiji in a rough manner. They asked me how could do they do this to an actor they've always adored? After a small chat, they got their act right!
