So when Lara Dutta, who made her debut apposite Akshay Kumar in Andaaz asked him to make a small appearance in the maiden production Challo Dilli not only did he instantly agree, but he also decided not to charge for it. Akshay made an appearance in the climax of the film as Lara Dutta's loving husband Lt. Col. Vikram Singh Rana.

Sanjay Dutt could be given the title of the 'Cameo King' of the year as he had not one, but three cameo appearances this year. First as the hilarious marriage magistrate cum divorce lawyer in Ready, then as 'The Villianous Villain' - Khalnayak with his trademark tattooed forearms, aviator shades with a cigar in Ra.One, followed by Desi Boyz, where he played the owner of a club called 'Desi Boyz'. He was in full form in each of his cameos.

Priyanka Chopra, a self proclaimed Shah Rukh Khan fan shot for Ra.One on her 29th birthday. SRK thanked Priyanka in his own sweet way by gifting her an expensive acoustic guitar. She played 'Desi Girl' - the Damsel in Distress trapped in the clutches of the deadly villain-Khalnayak (Sanjay Dutt), only to be rescued by Lucifer AKA SRK, in the item-action-dream sequence. The King of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan has always valued friendship above everything else and so he willingly agreed to do a cameo in Zayed Khan and Dia Mirza's debut production Love Breakups Zindagi. Despite being busy with the post production of his most ambitious project Ra.One, SRK managed to squeeze out three days to shoot for the film. Playing himself in the film, he charmed the audience with his appearance.

Pakistani singer turned actor Ali Zafar made a special appearance in the climax of Y-Films Luv Ka The End in a song titled 'Fun Fun Funaa', which he sang. He played the singing sensation cum model Freddie Kapoor. Just like his real life persona Freddie embodied every boy's dream benchmark and every girl's fantasy. Besides the song and dance, he also did a big stunt sequence in the climax in which Ali drops the girls home in an SUV and gives them the ride of their life. He surprised everyone on the set by doing all the breakneck driving himself.

Boman Irani played the middle-aged and unmarried Tisca Chopra's father in Love Breakups Zindagi. His interaction with her twice-divorced and much younger boyfriend Cyrus Sahukar had us rolling off our seats. Though he was there for just one scene Boman was hilarious and he had us in splits.
