Gulshan Devaiyah in Shaitan
Gulshan Devaiyah is what you call an out of the box, unpredictable actor. You never know what ace he has up his sleeve. After a brief cameo in Dum Maaro Dum, Gulshan really made people sit up and take notice of his talent with his brilliant portrayal of the rich, spoilt brat KC in Shaitan. He also later impressed in the critically acclaimed film That Girl In Yellow Boots where he once again shared screen space with Kalki Koechlin. Vidyut Jamwal in Force
For a long time, Force was talked about only as a John Abraham- Genelia D'souza starrer. The makers too didn't want to reveal the actor who played the negative lead in the film. However, when one watched Force, the one performance which stayed with you long after the film got over was that of Vidyut Jamwal. Vidyut was not your conventional evil looking villain. In fact he was given a suave look considering he played a street-smart guy who operates the drug mafia. As the ruthless yet suave Vishnu Garu, Vidyut delivered a knockout performance and matched John Abraham in each and every frame of the film. The fact that he has a chiseled physique and is trained in various forms of martial arts only added to the impact. Surely this was one promising debut by this newcomer. -

Rana Daggubati in Dum Maaro Dum
After an impressive debut down South with the Telugu flick Leader, Rana Daggubati decided to try his hand in the big bad world of Bollywood. Rana debuted with Rohan Sippy's Dum Maaro Dum earlier this year. As DJ Joki, a Goan Catholic boy, Rana had the right screen presence and despite being pitted opposite senior actors like Abhishek Bachchan, Bipasha Basu and Aditya Panscholi, he did manage to stand out. If he manages to choose his roles wisely, this tall, dark and handsome actor does have a promising future. Rana will next be seen in RGV's Department along side Amitabh Bachchan and Sanjay Dutt. -

Even if you have not seen the surprise hit of the year Pyaar Ka Punchanama, there is very less chance that you have not seen the 5 minute monologue video clip from the film which took the internet by storm and helped in getting the film noticed. The scene featured debutant Kartikeya aka Kartik who plays the character of the henpecked Rajat. One glimpse of his dialogue delivery in the 5 minute monologue where he goes on a women bashing spree, and you know that here is a guy who can definitely act. It's sheer destiny that Kartik bagged the role via Facebook a medium on which he became extremely popular once the scene leaked out. This is one actor to look out for in the days to come. Kartik will be next seen in a romantic film directed by Luv Ranjan where he is once again paired opposite his Pyaar Ka Punchnama co-star Nushrat Bharucha.
