The wax statue of Bachchan is the first to be installed in the Bollywood Zone at Time Square which is looking at adding figures of other leading Bollywood stars in time to come.
Also, in the Bollywood Zone at Times Square, there is a replica of the Taj Mahal, videos of Indian dancers and an area where visitors can pose as Bollywood stars. The concept behind the Bollywood Zone is to give the people a feel of being on the film sets with an actor.
The figure dressed in a traditional black sherwani suit with a gold and black scarf draped around the neck, is the first to be part of Madame Tussauds New York's all new 'Bollywood Zone' at Times Square.
