Celebs: Ajay Devgn & Sonakshi
This was one clash that could have been avoided but was not averted. We are indeed talking about the much talked about clash of SRK's Jab Tak Hai Jaan with Ajay Devgn's Son Of Sardaar (SOS). Even though both the films released on the same day, one couldn't just say that the audiences were spoilt for choice. Both the films may or may not have lived upto the expectations, but one thing was clear that the battle lines were clearly drawn not just in the actors minds, but also in the theaters that were screening these films.
In order to promote their film, the lead stars Ajay Devgn and Sonakshi Sinha sat on the hot seat, faced some tough questions from Big B and managed to win a handsome amount, in the bargain!

Celeb: Lara Dutta
This was one episode that really was anyways meant to shake everyone alike. While there was the gorgeous Lara Dutta on one side, on the other was the 'celebrity in her own right' Sonali Mukherjee. For the uninitiated, Sonali became the victim of a gruesome nerve wrecking acid attack when she was merely 17 years old and her family has practically spent all their savings on the treatment of their daughter. During the show, Big B applauded Sonali's courage of rising from the ashes and facing the trauma of her life and yet not giving up hope. Lara didn't donate her winnings to any NGO, as cause was sitting just next to her: Sonali! Wasting no time, Lara, immediately donated the winnings to Sonali for her future and the course of the treatment.
Immediately after the shoot, Big B even blogged stating: "Denied justice, she pleaded publicly to end her life... Denied that too because euthanasia is illegal in the country, she decided not to remain silent and suffer... Her story is one of immense courage... The nation salutes her as do all of us, but simultaneously hangs its head in shame for this dastardly act".

The film was called Student Of The Year (SOTY), which had three of the most promising newcomers of this year - Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan. As we are marching towards the end of the grand gala year 2012, Bollywood Hungama gets nostalgic about all the events that made the year that it was. The year 2012 also saw the new season of the widely watched reality game show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC). While this show transformed many a mere patis into overnight 'crorepatis', courtesy Amitabh Bachchan, it also saw many celebs participating as special guests (read 'contestants'). We look at all the special episodes in which the celebs participated and the social causes to which they donated their prize money:
