Besides the Khiladi actor, Rustom also stars Ileana D'Cruz and Esha Gupta in prominent roles along with Sharad Kelkar, Sachin Khedekar, Parmeet Sethi, Arjan Bajwa among others. Directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, Rustom is slated to release on August 12.
Set in the 1950s, Akshay Kumar plays the role of a navy officer named Rustom Pavri in this period film. The romantic thriller has been shot in varied locations like Pune and even UK and other parts of Europe.
After the success of his last release Airlift, Akshay Kumar's Rustom has been the talk of the town, owing to the fact that the film brings back the action hero's serious avatar as well as is said to be a compilation of true incidents like his previous film. And now, the actor recently took to social media to announce the end of the shooting schedule of Rustom.
Just a few minutes ago, Akshay Kumar posted this picture from the sets of Rustom saying, "It's time to rest the cap coz it's a wrap ?? Last day of #Rustom today, had a ball shooting this one! #mixedfeelings."
