Though it's been a while since we spotted the handsome Ranbir Kapoor lad kicking baddies and romancing leading ladies on screen, now the actor is gearing up for a film where he will be doing all of it. Bombay Velvet is a period drama that will take you back to the 60s and portray the deep rooted nexus of music and mafia.
While there will be guns being fired on one hand, we will also see the glamorous and lavish stage playing jazz music that was the trend during the era. Here is the exclusive first look of the song of the film that portrays one such scenario, titled 'Mohabbat Buri Beemari'
On the other hand, the song will also feature Ranbir Kapoor who will play the angry young street fighter. From what we hear, the two actors are said to share a sizzling chemistry in the song which is set to release this week.
Set against the backdrop of ambition, love, greed and jazz music, Bombay Velvet is the story of one ordinary man who goes against all odds and forges his destiny to become a big shot. Produced by Phantom Films and presented by Fox Star Studios, the film releases on May 15.
