Readers may remember that this year marks the seventh year of India representing at the Slum Soccer's event. What one really needs to be noted is that, while the said team is being trained by a foreign coach, the whole cause is being supported by a NGO named 'Krida Vikas Sanstha'.
Needless to say that, the children were delighted indeed after meeting Arjun Kapoor, who is presently busy shooting for R. Balki's film Ki and Ka.
The said team aka 'The Slum Soccer' team is now all set to be heading to Amsterdam, where they will represent India in a global tournament 'Homeless World Cup'. Arjun Kapoor, after posting the image on Twitter, even captioned as "Wishing #TEAMINDIA all the best for the #Hwc2015 @slumsoccer @starmountent...'
Arjun Kapoor has always encouraged and extended his support to the needy. That's why it comes as no surprise when we found him interacting with 18 talented boys and girls who live in slums, but were united by their love for the game of football.
