"For me the idea for Limited Edition was to make clothes that are comfortable and wearable. Girls have to feel like themselves. The idea is not to dress you up and make you feel like someone else. You need to feel confident and comfortable. I have to keep that in mind and still make a different collection every time", she added.

Deepika also stressed on the fact that the entire collection is a team effort and not done single handed. She said, "I will not take all the credit for this. I have a wonderful team working on this venture with me. I specifically want to thank Shaleena Nathani and Kunal who have been very instrumental in helping me put this together and most importantly for understanding my style."

After having worked on Van Heusen's Limited Edition Spring Summer 2014 collection for nearly 8 months, the gorgeous diva Deepika Padukone spent a weekend at the resort town of Saint-Tropez on the French Riviera, shooting for the collection with ace South African fashion photographer, Justin Polkey.

Having received a good response for her debut Autumn Winter 2013 collection, Deepika said she faced more challenges designing her second line. "It is more difficult the second time, as the first time you put in everything- all your thoughts and designs. You want to make your next collection look different."
