Check Out: Priyanka bonds with Katy Perry

Katy Perry, who was recently in India to perform at the opening ceremony of the 5th edition of the Indian Premier League bonded big time with Priyanka Chopra. The two girls had a great time bonding over lunch and they even went shopping together in Chennai.

They also visited a jewelry store where Katy was extremely thrilled to discover some rare Indian gem stones.

After their day out, PC tweeted, “too much fun doin girl time.. Holdin u to the cupcake ATM in LA.. C u guys soon @katyperry @shannonwoodward”

To which the Teenage Dream singer replied, “@priyankachopra lovely to meet you! Can't wait to host you in Los Angeles...also can't wait to raid your closet :)”

Priyanka, who is currently recording her debut music album, is slated to travel to US next month.

PC and Katy also indulged in some street shopping, where they bought some trinklets.

While the California Girls singer looked gorgeous in a floral dress, PC looked stunning in a green Vanessa Bruno dress.

Priyanka wanted Katy to have a typical Indian experience, so instead of taking her around in a chauffer driven car they opted to explore the city in an auto rickshaw.
