Another USP of Bodyguard is the fact that it marks the return of Himesh Reshammiya as a composer. Himesh has in the past scored chartbusting music for many of Salman's films like Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya, Tere Naam, Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya etc. It will be interesting to see the kind of tracks Himesh comes up with for Bodyguard.
Salman and Bebo have been paired together earlier in films like Kyun Ki and Main Aurr Mrs Khanna which unfortunately did not click at the B.O. They would be hoping with Bodyguard, their luck as a pair changes for the better.
Besides Salman and Kareena, the film also stars Raj Babbar and Hazel in pivotal roles. The unit recently shot for some important scenes in Patiala, Punjab.
Bodyguard, produced by Atul Agnihotri and Reliance Entertainment, is the remake of the Malayalam hit film by the same name. Siddique, who directed the original version, makes his Hindi film debut as a director with this one.
