While Kapoor & Sons is being directed by Shakun Batra and produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, the film also stars the veteran stars Rishi Kapoor, Ratna Pathak, and Rajat Kapoor.
In one of the media interactions, Fawad Khan said that the film was neither about sexuality, nor about love triangles. He also mentioned that there were a lot of misconceptions about the film. In the same breath, he even added that, if there was a role of a gay character, then, he did not think there's anything wrong in it.
