Like many other Bollywood celebrities, Sidharth Malhotra is a huge fan of the epic fantasy series The Lord of the Rings directed by Sir Peter Jackson. Very few may be aware that the film was shot in New Zealand and there is also a Weta Workshop where one can be transformed into the different characters from the film.
Similarly, when Sidharth Malhotra realised that the Weta Workshop could transform him into one of his favourite characters from The Lord of the Rings Trilogy he couldn't wait to go and try it out. As soon as Sidharth entered Weta, he was taken on a personal tour by founder and creative director of the workshop Sir Richard Taylor. The team at Weta Workshop also transformed Sidharth into an 'elf'.During his visit to Weta Workshop, Sidharth was also given 'The One Ring' from the Lord of the Ring collection.
Sidharth Malhotra has become the brand ambassador of New Zealand and he is going all out to explore the place. Earlier we had mentioned about his meet with the Prime Minister of New Zealand and the actor had posted a picture with Prime Minister John Key on the social networking site.
Talking about the experience, Sidharth said, "Being presented this title by Prime Minister John Key himself is a matter of great honour for me. I feel privileged to be immersed in the Kiwi culture. I have been in New Zealand for two days now and have experienced warm Kiwi hospitality first hand. I am really excited about the rest of the trip and can't wait to experience more of New Zealand's unique offerings." Also, the Prime Minister was very impressed with the actor and even presented him an All Blacks jersey at an official gathering in Wellington, New Zealand's capital city and home of the New Zealand Parliament.
