Sonam, who made her Cannes debut with a stunning white Jean Paul Gualtier gown attended the French designer's Amy Winehouse inspired show, in a Jean Paul Gaultier soft blue formal suit sans a blouse and a brown trench coat with an interesting neck piece.

After attending the show Sonam tweeted, "Just saw the @JPGaultier it was so so stunning. I'm in awe... "

The 59-year old designer was so mesmerised with the Indian beauty, he posted a picture of himself with Sonam on twitter which read, "With the sublime @sonamakapoor after the show (in a JPGaultier total look, bien-sûr!)."

To which Sonam replied, "You're show was sublime I was in tears.."

Bollywood's favourite Fashion Queen Sonam Kapoor's love for fashion finally paid off as she attended Elie Saab and Jean Paul Gaultier's Spring/Summer 2012 Couture shows in Paris. Sonam received personal invitations from the respective designers to attend their fashion shows.

Sonam was given top honours by being made to sit in the first row at Lebanese fashion designer, Elie Saab's Haute Couture Show.

For the Elie Saab Haute Couture Show, instead of wearing something from the designers collection, Sonam opted for a powder pink Deepti Pruthi sari with a white Chinese collar sleeveless blouse with exquisite work on the neck teamed with a pink full sleeves lace Elie Saab shrug. She accessorized her look with pearl hoops and a white clutch.

Smooky eyes, red lips and hair swept to a side in a bun completed her look. Sonam gets thumbs up for choosing a sari and looking so glamorous and classy at the event.

After the Elie Saab show Sonam tweeted, "And @ElieSaabWorld has so so many outstandingly beautiful creations! Stunning!!"

Sonam also attended a private dinner with the Lebanese fashion designer.
