Amidst all the fun, the actress was also seen flaunting the eyeballs for the statue, which will have a light brownish shade representing the real colour of Katrina's eyes.
The Bollywood celebrities who have previously received this honour include legendary star Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, former Miss World and International brand ambassador Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and dancing beauty Madhuri Dixit Nene.
The actress was posing with strings filled with colored hair samples from which she will be selecting the one that will suit her replicated wax doll. Excited about this honour, the actress said, "I am extremely excited that Madame Tussauds London will be creating my wax figure and the fact that fans here involved in the decision makes it even more special. I can't wait to start work on the creation now and to meeting myself in wax next year!"
Earlier we reported that Katrina Kaif has won the Madame Tussauds poll leaving behind Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone and has become the next Bollywood celebrity to have a wax sculpture at the museum in London. While the official site of Madame Tussauds recently confirmed the victory of Katrina, they have already started working on the statue.
The museum authorities are busy capturing the features of the actress in order to make the sculpture authentic and Katrina Kaif seems to be equally involved in the process. From what we hear, the said wax statue will see Katrina Kaif in a famous dancing pose and her outfit too will be worked according to the song they choose. A team of 20 artists will be working on the sculpture and it is said to be completed by spring 2015. We also hear that the actress will be present at the launch and will unveil the statue herself.
