This was digitally augmented as they wanted to show some depth and movement in the background to give more life to the shot. Talking about fusing CG with the live action footage, Viral says, "To accomplish this, we recreated a computer generated bottle along with the cork, and matched the timing of the actor's thumb as he flicks the champagne cork with his thumb. This was one of the most challenging shots that we came across in Chashme Baddoor."

Unlike Sajid Khan's Himmatwala which was a BO disaster, David Dhawan's Chashme Baddoor, a remake of the 80s classic, garnered about Rs. 36 crores at the BO and was declared a hit. One of the crucial aspects that contributed towards the film's success is the post-production and VFX process, executed by Mumbai based Pixion Studios.
