Many years ago, Govinda and Sushmita starred in a forgettable flick called Kyonkii Main Jhuth Nahi Bolta. While that film (a shameless rip-off of Jim Carrey classic Liar Liar) sank without a trace, one wishes that this time around Chi Chi and Sush can create some magic on screen. The film has been shot at some lavish locations including the super luxurious Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi.
In the late nineties and at the start of the new millennium, Vashu Bhagnani was among the busiest and most successful producers. After all, his films such as Coolie No.1, Hero No.1, Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan, Biwi No.1, and Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai were not just hard-core entertainers but also proved to major money-spinners at the B.O. Off-late, Vashu's films such as Vaada, Silsilay, Shaadi No.1 and the recently released Sorry Bhai didn't set the cash registers ringing. However, Vashu is not one to take a back seat. Known for his astute business acumen, Vashu Bhagnani is now looking forward to two of his films Do Knot Disturb and Kal Kissney Dekha. Do Knot Disturb
The Vashu Bhagnani- David Dhawan- Govinda combo has given us some great entertainers in the past such as Coolie No.1, Hero No.1, and Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan. Now the trio gets back together for yet another rib-tickling film, Do Knot Disturb. Apart from Govinda, the film also features Sushmita Sen, Lara Dutta and Riteish Deshmukh in important roles.
There is no denying the fact Govinda is among the finest comic actors we have in Bollywood. Combine Chi Chi's histrionics with Riteish's funny antics and expect a laughathon. Lara Dutta, who has had a good success with comic flicks such as No Entry, Bhagam Bhag, and Partner, would also be joining the fun. It would be interesting to see the two former Miss Universes (Sush and Lara) setting the screen on fire.
In the film, Jacky plays a guy who can see things before they happen. Kal Kissney Dekha has Jacky paired opposite the beautiful Vaishali Desai who will also be seen making her debut with this film. For those who came in late, Vaishali is the grand-niece of legendary filmmaker Manmohan Desai. Besides the duo, few Bollywood bigwigs will be seen in a guest appearance in this film.
Among all the films that Vashu Bhagnani has produced in his illustrious career, Kal Kissney Dekha would always have a soft corner, for this film marks the debut of Vashu's son Jacky Bhagnani. Vivek Sharma, who directed Bhoothnath last year, is the Captain of this ship. Kal Kissney Dekha is a college flick with a suspense element thrown in to keep viewers at the edge of their seats.
