The newcomer Dev Goel tells me, "Everyone says that comedy is the flavour of the season and there is no doubt that comic films are doing well. HHRCK characters are very relatable to the 'aam janta'. Shammi, played by me and Priyanka played by Adah Sharma are two people that can be your friends too. They could be you also. The road trip is a roller coaster ride and as my father and director aptly puts it, it's a com-rom."
Talking about his co-star Adah Sharma, Dev quotes, "Adah is a really great girl. She is a very down to earth individual who has a great sense of humour. She isn't pretentious and that's what I like about her. Whenever we get time in between shots, we chat with each other and it really helps us de-stress." -

The great William Shakespeare once quoted, 'What's in a name? Well, the best people to let you know the answer will be Goel Screencraft's Jyotin Goel because his film Pri And Me starring Adah Sharma and Dev Goel has been re-named Hum Hai Raahi CAR Ke. When asked the reason why, producer and director Jyotin Goel explains, "Hum Hai Raahi CAR Ke is an imaginative title. Pri And Me was still our working title when we announced the film. The current one evokes the feeling of a comic road trip. It sounds youthful, catchy and most of all, fun! We were looking for a title that went beyond the ordinary."
"Hum Hai Raahi CAR Ke (HHRCK) is a rip-roaring comedy with a slice of romance and with enough energy to keep the audience rolling off and then jumping back onto their seats! And we needed a title that would capture that spirit", quotes Jyotin Goel.
