The Aamby Valley Indian Bridal Fashion Week (AVIBFW) held at 'The Grand hotel' in South Delhi on July 23, this year was filled with heaps of alluring beauty and glamour. The fashion show showcased a mixture of remarkable bridal and couture collections by designers JJ Valaya, Tarun Tahiliani, Raghavendra Rathore, Shantanu and Nikhil, Falguni and Shane Peacock, Rohit Bal, Suneet Varma, Ashima Leena, Meera and Muzaffar Ali, Adarsh Gill, Jyotsana Tiwari and Rina Dhaka.
The first day witnessed Kangna Ranaut oozing oodles of glamour on the ramp in her dramatic bridal wear by JJ Valaya consisting of a navy blue halter neck choli flaunting ample cleavage and a spectacular multicolored floor sweeping lehenga graciously accentuated with stone studded accessories and a turban. The makeup was subtle to allow the ensemble speak for itself!
The spectacle was a delight with the other 50 models and 30 artistes painting a wedding picture on the ramp and actor Kabir Bedi evoking the feel of past times in his Mughal-like groom's ensemble. -

Sonakshi Sinha being the brand ambassador of 'Rajguru Creations' walked the ramp for the designer, at a fashion show in Bangalore, Bengaluru donning extravagant saris. Both the looks were ethnic with gorgeous embellishments. While the first appearance was in blue and pink, the second consisted of black and gold, with the finishing touches being pristine makeup, tousled side swept hair, drop-down earrings and a bindi.
The striking black sari look appealed to us much more than the blue sari look while the addition of the lavish gold belt on the black sari added to the panache.
Lubna Adams orchestrated the evening with the other models being Aanchal Kumar, Archana Kumar, Tamara Moss, Kanishtha Dhankar, Ushoshi Sengupta, Pragya Jaiswal, Dipannita Sharma, Mashoom Singha, Kanika Dev, Pia Trivedi, Smitha Rao, Krishna Somani and Kavita Kharayat.
