If there is one film that has become quite the talk of the town, it's Delhi Belly. The star of Delhi Belly, was the special guest at this exclusive Meet-N-Greet event hosted by Bollywoodhungama.com. Dressed in a smart checked shirt and jeans, Imran had the crowd in a tizzy the moment he walked in to meet his fans.
Imran also spoke about his much talked about equation with Ranbir Kapoor. The young actor said, "Ranbir and I have always been friendly with each other. Honestly, I don't know him for that long and first got to know him only a couple of years ago when we both started out in the industry. I've always liked him and thought of him as a good guy. When we read various stories about our so-called rivalry in the newspapers, we don't let it affect our relation and we decide to pick up the phone or meet and find out if any of us actually did say what is mentioned in the papers. That is the best way to not get bogged down by these rumours."
At the behest of a contest winner, Imran also shared how he proposed to his then girlfriend now wife Avantika. The actor said, "I wanted to surprise Avantika and had decorated a room full of candles. There were candles everywhere and I could barely walk my way to open the door for her. Moreover, because of the candles, I couldn't switch on the fan or A/C and was sweating profusely. Soon the whole room was filled with smoke. Avantika was quite taken aback when she saw what I had done but did find it a sweet gesture. I would however not recommend it to anybody."
After a brief introduction, Imran geared up for the Q-n-A round and was ready to answer any and every question thrown at him. Speaking about his on-screen kisses in Delhi Belly, Imran said, "There are two kissing scenes in the film and I must admit I was not comfortable at all. It's not easy when you've just met somebody 3-4 days back and have to do kissing scenes with her. However, as an actor, its part of my job and if the script demands it, I have no qualms."
Finally, it was time for contest winners to get clicked alongside Imran. The young actor patiently posed with his fans and even obliged a few autograph hunters.
