It was a fun and rollicking time for Bollywood Hungama's contest winners at the special Vidya Balan Meet-N-Greet event.
Dressed in a long black tunic with a black skirt, Vidya walked in amidst loud applause, and wished the fans a very Happy New Year. Little did she know that her fans would soon be wishing her back, because we were going to surprise her by celebrating her birthday with her fans!
Finally, it was time for Vidya to leave but not before the customary photo opportunity session with her fans. To everyone's delight, Vidya posed for photographs with all of the contest winners and even signed a few autographs!
All in all, this was one helluva event. Bollywood Hungama has always given its surfers a chance to Meet-N-Greet some of the biggest names in B-town be it Shahid Kapoor or Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra or Katrina Kaif.

There was a big surprise in store for Vidya and she couldn't believe her eyes when she saw a gooey chocolate cake with candles being brought towards her. The actress celebrates her birthday today (January 1st), and her fans couldn't let go of the opportunity of celebrating this special day with her.
Vidya obligingly cut the birthday cake and most sweetly offered it to the tiny tots in the audience.
As Vidya got ready to leave, her fans requested her to stay back for a while so that they could try out the famous Paa dance step with her and the gorgeous actress readily obliged.
After the initial round of introductions, it was time for some fun as fans asked Vidya a wide range of questions. In the round of Q&A's that followed, Vidya was at her candid best. She described her journey from TV serial 'Hum Paanch' to Paa and how she considered herself fortunate to have worked with some of the best Bollywood directors. Describing her experience of playing mother to Big B, she said, "I was apprehensive at first but Amitabhji made me feel very comfortable."
On her upcoming films, she also had a word about Ishqiya, "It's been one of the most difficult characters to portray till now."
