Mona Chopra is one new entrant in Bollywood - but before her movie, her MMS clip got released. Yes, she is that most talked about girl who is all set to rock in Bollywood with her dare bare attitude. She has already made her debut in south films and with the small time flick Time Pass, she has started off in Hindi films too. Her next film Naughty Boy just released this Friday. Mona shares her experiences in Bollywood with IndiaFM.
I should win an award for being the naughtiest girl
There are three male characters in my just released film Naughty Boy. Rahul Roy who plays father thinks that he is naughty and so does his son. Then my love interest thinks the same but they don't know that it's me who is naughtiest amongst all. The movie is all about how I play with their minds and make them dance on my tunes. Award should go to me for being the naughtiest.
Teaching sex education
I am playing a sex education teacher in Naughty Boy. I teach a minor how to interact with the opposite sex. His father appoints me when he feels that his son needs someone who could help him to come out of this fear. He cannot interact with the opposite sex. He stammers and hesitates to talk about it and I help him to overcome from his inabilities. I boost the confidence level of this minor and clear his mental blocks and inhibitions.

Here in Bollywood the female lead gets a good platform rather than just playing a love interest in the film. She can experiment with her performance and look. I feel Bollywood is much more competitive industry than any other industry. There are various kinds of characters. In South they have a completely different audience. They love to see their heroines in one role and that is either ghar ki bahu or typical bhartiya nari characters, but here in Bollywood we can experiment with roles like that of a psychotic killer or a police woman and that's really encouraging.
I want to be a versatile actress
In Naughty Boy my role is very glamorous while in my other films you will find me in equally important roles. I am playing police officer and a psychotic killer in my forthcoming films. I don't want to repeat myself. I don't want to be type cast in one role. I want to be a versatile actress.

Yes, some channels have portrayed me in a culprit frame. If this would have happened with any other established star then media and audiences would have sympathized with her. And would have called it a spy camera's hazard but it happened with me at this point of my career when I am least expecting this to happen so it may be convenient and easy for the media to blow this issue. I would never stoop down to such cheap sleazy levels to become famous. I have lot of work and I believe in my talent. I know some day and time I will surely hit the jack pot.
MMS can't decide the fate of a film
No I don't think it helps get success. No one wants to go for a film just by watching a MMS clip. If the film doesn't have any content or it fails to sustain viewer's interest level then nothing can help it. I don't think today's audience is fool rather they are more intelligent. If they are paying for it then they expect the same entertainment value out of it. I think it's ridiculous to think that a MMS can make a film.
