Asoka-The Warrior- Princess look
Kareena was very excited after signing Asoka and it was her dream come true to act opposite SRK! Her look was about minimalist costumes, i.e. midriff-baring old-world saris, crippled wild hair and smokey eyes. What attracted Bebo more to her character was to appear on-screen without make-up, the chance to do away with all the frills and fusses of being a star and letting her talent speak for her. The hottie couldn't be more in love with the simplicity of the dramatic eyes on her bare face, which was the base of the whole look. Even though the diva's saris were a bit technical since they had to be draped on her body in a non-bulky kind of way, yet they looked striking and were mentioned in every single review. -

Ra.One -The Chammak-Challo Look
Red is a definite success formula for Kareena. The red sari from 'Chammak Challo' was actually made as a full sari for the train sequence, but when Bebo had to dance in it, she asked for something lighter. And it was Ganesh Hegde and SRK who decided to take off the pallu and wrap it around the hottie's waist like a sarong. Manish had to pre-stitch the pallu so that it wouldn't fall off, and he decided to cheat with the blouse. Nobody noticed but the sari's blouse was switched with a net sleeves one in the song. He also insisted to wear a nose-ring to make the character look sexy. The diva's curves were back then and it really paid her off.
Karan Johar even called up Kareena to congratulate her, saying, "Darling you're looking super hot." Even Saif couldn't take his eyes off the screen when he first saw Kareena dance in the song. The 'Prince of Pataudi' even took Bebo out for dinner and pampered her a little extra that night. If you ask Kareena, she says her body never looked better than in that song! -

3 Idiots- The Geeky-Glam look
This is Kareena's favorite movie not because it had Aamir and Raju Hirani, but because Bebo was allowed to roam in jeans and t-shirts all day. The entire look was defined by glasses. Even though glasses make a woman look intensely serious and wonderfully awkward at the same time, her look is quite popular even today.
Though her character Pia's wardrobe was so simple and casual and Bebo was in track pants with t-shirts for most of the scenes, tons of detailing and hundreds of fitting went to create it. Raju had a very clear idea of what he wanted Kareena Kapoor to look like and the glasses were his suggestion. It was a new look for the diva but she instantly fell in love with it. For the 'Zoobie Doobie' song, Manish picked the gorgeous white voluminous gown so that Aamir and Kareena would really look like they were floating away on clouds. Bebo used to twirl around in that gown and feel like she's in a fairy tale! -

Jab We Met- The Girl-Next-Door look
Jab We Met was about being bubbly and excited without going over the top. Geet was spontaneous and fun-loving, and that was exactly what her wardrobe reflected. Printed or slogan tees paired with loose-fitting harem or patiala pants in solid colors or a chikan kurta with a pair of dark-wash skinny jeans and simple accessories. Plus to carry it all, the unbeatable I-love-myself attitude!
Geet became a trendsetter. The T-shirt and salwar combination happened by chance. It was supposed to be a night scene and Imtiaz, who has such a fantastic eye for detail, was trying to figure out what would Kareena wear to bed on a train. Since Bebo already donned a salwar kurta, they decided that the character would change the top and put on a t-shirt, something as natural and simple as that. Manish decided to glam up the salwar combo by designing a black corset with harem pants for the song 'Mauja Hi Mauja'. Next thing, young girls everywhere were grooming in the same ensemble. Even Shobhaa De called Jab We Met the 'most styled film of the year'. Geet became so iconic that even Madame Tussauds decided that she would be the character they wanted as Kareena's wax statue! -

Tashan- The Toned-Body look
'The size-zero phenomenon', that is how Tashan will be remembered. Kareena in her green bikini scene stole the entire show! Apart from the bikini the one look which had people talking was the knotted white shirt and hot-shorts combo. The look was all about showing off a toned body with aviator sunglasses and a little bronzer on the cheekbones as well as on the jaw line. For Kareena, Tashan wasn't about a statement wardrobe, it was about making the statement "there's nothing Kapoor can't do".
Size-zero had changed Kareena's perception of food, exercise and health completely. And she finally decided to get her dream figure with the help of yoga which she quickly got obsessed with, so much that her favorite asanas are Surya Namaskar, Trikonasana, Sarvangasana, Halasana, Chakrasan and Hanumanasana.
