"There are many sequences in the movie shot in chroma showing Emraan and other people traveling in a car through the by lanes of Delhi. This required extensive work as we had to composite the background, add moving reflections and glass textures to the moving footage of the Delhi cityscape," Baria added. For one pivotal blast sequence, the director wanted to depict a jeep getting fired up against a serene setup. This was executed using 3D dynamics with the team creating the entire truck whilst adding fire and smoke to make it look visually credible. Speaking about the venture, Merzin said, "Every collaboration with Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt at Vishesh Films has been an absolutely amazing. The experience we had with working on Jannat 2 has been very rewarding and we are glad that we could accomplish the director and producer's expectations. I hope to have many endeavors like this in the future too."

Many sequences were enhanced to dramatize the impact of the film. The VFX team worked on creating the title sequence along with digital matte painting, chroma compositing and numerous clean ups. Talking about the most challenging task being the title sequence of the film, Mahesh says, "We were involved from conceptualization right up to design for this particular sequence. The treatment was done keeping in mind the grungy, hyper-real and gangster theme of the storyline. This major facet involved a lot of multi-layering work and we had to rotoscope (masking) out Emraan's character into every single frame. In the end, we achieved an alluring sequence that paced the narrative instantly and accomplished exactly what the director had in mind."
