Apart from her stellar performance in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Deepika Padukone is also being admired for her look in the film. Deepika is seen sporting three distinct looks in the YJHD, which she carries off effortlessly.

The first look: 'Scholar Naina'.

What I liked the most about this look was that designer Manish Malhotra didn't give her the stereotypical 'nerdy look' of oiled plaits, salwar kameez, et al. Instead Deepika was seen flaunting her toned legs in trendy knee length summer dresses with contrast cardigans (never mind the weather in Manali!), headbands and the thick framed specs giving her the nerdy touch.
